Exactly a year ago, a 27-year-old from my hometown was scheduled to be euthanized on Feb. 1, 2024 after two doctors approved her request to die.

At the eleventh hour, her father got an injunction that prevented her death.

Today she's alive, now 28 & still worth fighting for.
